Founded in 2010, Dreadnought Books is a second-hand and out of print book dealer specialising in history, with a particular focus on military, social and labour history. In the autumn of 2013 Dreadnought relocated, and now inhabits a shop space in Hotwells, Bristol. If you are in the vicinity please come and pay a visit to 125 St Georges Road, BS1 5UW. (Opening hours: Wednesday, Friday & Saturday: 10am - 6pm / Tuesday & Thursday: 1pm - 6pm).

We continue to trade online. A selection of our stock is hosted by ABE and Amazon, and can also be found at bookselling websites Biblio and Bookzangle, with supplementary listings at eBay.

This blog is in part an attempt to motivate me to make use of my library as a resource for writing. Thus I hope to post book reviews and other articles relating to the book trade here from time to time. As well as keeping any interested parties informed as to the progress of Dreadnought.
